Most of the time I am happy puttering around in the 182 or the Cougar but there are times it would be nice to rent a 310. I can afford to rent it and to buy one, but don't have the hours or enough missions to justify putting one in the hangar.

It is in Rapid City SD most of the time and comes to Pheonix as needed. There are some blocks available however I believe it is dual only or there is a large checkout needed for insurance. The plane is pretty open schedule wise, think there is one commercial student and one mei student in it now. And then a couple of commercial add ons in 8 weeks or something.

Depends - the original model Seneca had non-turbo Lycoming IO360 engines. They're frequently used as trainers due to the low acquisition costs. I can see those being rented for $255/hr. Pretty much, can't hurt them. Fly like a wallowing hog though.
Seneca II and later have the turbo engines. (and a lot of other improvements) I've only rarely seen those for rental use. I owned one, not difficult to manage, but then again, I had an incentive since I was paying my own repair bills.

Insure a steel bar for enough money, and I'm betting on TRW.

The only steel bars TRW is going to have a go at in the next little while are the ones he’s behind. Shame it turned out the way it did but that was his own hole he dug and at least he’s still alive. I did find his posts pretty entertaining though...
