I'm a new member of Beechtalk. My flying mission has changed recently to include several flights per year to Colorado. I have 750 plus hrs in Piper Lance and am IFR for nearly all of those hours. It's been a tremendous airplane for my flatland flying yet that Hershey Bar wing just doesn't cut it especially in the warm season. I'd like to be able to carry 2-3 adults passengers. So what do you all think twin or is there a single TC Bonanza?! Thanks.
Kirk

Welcome to BT, Kirk. To Colorado from where? You don't have a location in your profile...

For me, in high density altitude flying it's the engine, not the wing, that runs out of performance on a normally aspirated plane.

If you like the pa32 there are turbo versions. There's a turbo Senca if you want a relatively efficient twin. Here's a nice looking Piper viewtopic.php?f=43&t=144119&start=15

If it were me, as a Bonanza fan, I'd look at a turbonormalized A36 over a Baron. Most light twins DO have excess HP, so if density altitude is taking X% of your power with the twin you're starting from a higher base. But with the the turbo, you stay at full power.

Had to look it up, but that's Quincy, Illinois.

We used to go to a horse show there every summer.
