Added useless knowledge.

I finally broke my streak of making all my first jet landings at night. Here is a list of all the different models of jets I've landed so far.

Citation II w/ Mark landed at OTM at night.
Citation V Ultra landed GBG at night.
Citation Bravo landed HEF at night.
CRJ 700 landed PHX at night.
CRJ 200 landed SLC at night.
CRJ 900 landed DTW during the day! First good landing in the 85,000lb beast last night at RDU, greased it on just like Mark taught me in the CII! :dancing:

Proud Papa. :bud:

I need to fly with Mark. I've greased plenty of landings in jets, but never in a straight-leg Citation. I've gotten one to grease before the other comes slamming down, but more often than not it was just "bang". Stiffest gear I ever saw. If you can grease a straight-leg Citation on, you are indeed The Man. :pilot:

I love my Baron ;)

Ha. All you need is about 12,000 feet of runway and it’s a breeze.

I was feeling for the runway and finally Mark decided it was time to land.... LOL. That beginners luck is a great thing sometimes!
Thanks again Mark for giving me the opportunity to ride along and learn from the master!!

Yes. $199 a year. Pretty good deal. Has a limitation though were you can only get one PDC per day per airport. I.e you do two departures from same airport in one day you can only get PDC the first flight.

Well it is about time, but why is the FAA not delivering this themselves?

There's no excuse for not being to text for clearance, and a void time, from any airport at any time.

The cost (and delay) of calling the clearance phone number, plus mistakes in copying the clearance, are crazy compared to this.

Uhhhh cause it is the FAA?

This is the organization that promotes FSDO shopping for certain approvals.

See this thread. AOPA posted an article yesterday about an app to get clearances.
