Last time I flew into DFW the contract fuel rates looked fantastic. After all the fees and Fueling related charges... not so great. In fact, several weeks after the trip I was still debating the charges with my contract fuel provider. Seems it was about $1.50 per gallon more than expected.

Landing fee would be ~ $60 for a 550.
Facility fee $95 (but note that it includes a lot of stuff you often pay extra for, lav, gpu, shuttle, etc).
Not too bad for a major airport like that.
What is parking per night? Maybe DFW is a reasonable GA airport after all.
Mike C. The overnight fee is “included” in the facility fee, but you will receive a facility fee for every 24 hours that you stay. Even with all the fees, the DFW FBO is probably as good as it gets for airports of that size. The first time I went, I was surprised at the per gallon fuel surcharges because typically the UVAir contract price is what you will pay. It seems UVAir (or the FBO) should include the per gallon surcharge in the quoted contract price total. (I hope signature doesn’t hear of this tactic!). The FBO, Corporate Aviation, is owned by the local DFW airport government so I suspect that is why fuel prices are somewhat low compared to other airports of similar size. I use DFW if my ultimate destination is near the airport for a day trip or if dropping a passenger for the airlines. The FBO will even drive you to your destination if it’s within something like 5 miles of the FBO. DFW is not bad if you don’t plan on staying more than 24 hours. The only issue to be aware of is that it can take a long time to get fuel. There is no such thing as a quick turn there. I don’t think they keep fuel trucks at the FBO so your fuel order is put in line with the airlines.

For some reason I'm actually kind of proud to be on that list!

Added useless knowledge. I finally broke my streak of making all my first jet landings at night. Here is a list of all the different models of jets I've landed so far. Citation II w/ Mark landed at OTM at night. Citation V Ultra landed GBG at night. Citation Bravo landed HEF at night. CRJ 700 landed PHX at night. CRJ 200 landed SLC at night. CRJ 900 landed DTW during the day! First good landing in the 85,000lb beast last night at RDU, greased it on just like Mark taught me in the CII!
