The downside is, he now has to sit there with hands on controls and throttle to keep it upright and fixed to the ground. The TO and initial climb might be more impressive.

I'm not sure if I'm more astonished that someone has the gall to put their hand out and ask for money for that or that society apparently sees that as normal and fulfills he request.

The video comments said he was without insurance and that he did not request or set up the gofundme, but did ok it. It was requested by attendees who wanted to help out.
