Nah, unlike another co-pilot in one of Marks video who had his hand cradling the yoke during landing I had no concerns that Mark could handle the flare.

Michael you know the old saying about how to tell who is a jet pilot...

Give them a minute. They'll tell you.

Learned a little trick from Allen that I thought I would mention. Set the Transponder to 1200 after each flight. That way it will stand out if you get out to the runway and haven't set the proper code.

I picked up our clearance without Allen in the cockpit. I got disrupted while programming the departure. Never reset transponder. Got to then end of the runway and Allen saw 1200 was still in the transponder and got the right one set. Had it been set to anything other than 1200 he would have just assumed it was correct.

Good catch Allen and good tip. It happened to be set to 1200 from Allen's checkout flight for SIC rating from the day before.

We also learned where to find the Lat/Long on the low altitude enroute chart to enter Mexican waypoints that are not in the 530 DB as user waypoints.

I think I figured out what all the switches and lights do in a 2 hour flight. A bit different then the PL21 glass I am used to.

That's a good technique, but I would recommend you make the post-flight code 0000. If you ever fly in the D.C. area (SFRA or FRZ), and takeoff with a 1200 code, it sets off lots of alarms! An incorrect code is better than 1200.
