25.7 hours in the Bravo in one week of the life of a charter pilot!

Even included my first missed approach at night in the jet! Tried the shortest route with a VOR 21 approach missed and came back in on the ILS 3.

Landed at KHEF for the inauguration. This is the arrival.

I will post a video of a 600 OVC ILS later this weekend

This is a busy arrival. Got to make speeds and altitudes and turns in a really short window traveling at 439 knots. SP it is a handful.

Siciliano,

Wow, what a thread you've started. You sure were able to get folks to dig out some really neat posts and pix.

And even includes skiing (some folks have the life.....), I'll be out in a few weeks but only get one time out this season. You skiing?

As for the flying part, kinda makes me want to go back to work flying again...... second thought..... I'll enjoy the great posts here.

I started it, but Mark has made it what it is. He's doing great trips and vids.

I'll try to ski at least once this year but will probably just stay in the gold ole US of A. Those trips to France each year were great for awhile, but the long flights, security and mix ups kinna ganged up on me. Would rather spent that time on the slopes than with shoes, belt and any self-esteem in hand. Heathrow can be a real zoo and that was our best connection from Dallas area.

Yet another video. Flying the ILS into KHEF (Manassas, VA). Single pilot. Note how I use Garmin Pilot on the iPad and Synthetic Vision on the 796 to help with situational awarness. When I started the ILS the ATIS was reporting 1000ovc. Turned out to be 6OVC.

Let me beat you all to it...leave the iPhone alone. :hammer:

Love the FAA. Who recognizes the redskins on this arrival?

Let it be known, anyone who does not think that an iPad is a serious cockpit necessity, is forgoing an incredible situational awareness and backup tool........

.....nice flying Mark!!!

Poor man's G1000/G600.

Great for legacy aircraft.

FIFY.

An Android tablet can also do the job.

I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 with Garmin Pilot.

It is nice that I can run Pilot on my Android cell phone as a backup device.
