Ok, for us poor folk that can only afford cheap legacy tprops, this is not bad..... the extra gas is more than covered by lack of invested capital:-)

TAS was 323, which was almost exactly inline with book. Cold weather rules.

323KTAS is pretty good for being in a 90 degree bank.

Why does a TBM tread as to turn to the MU2?
The guy is buying a TBM, why would he want an MU2?

Its the same mechanism that turns every Meridian thread into a 'you should buy an older TBM instead' thread ;)

If you are flying more plane than you need, you are just throwing money out the exhaust stacks :D

The extra 2 million that I have invested instead of buying a TBM 930 and going a little slower in my M500, with the help of the Trump train, will cover all of my flying expenses for at least the next 2 years :D :D :D

262 KTAS on 250 pph (37gph), The Meridian is the Prius version of the TP ;)

Charles, that's money.......i'm of the current opinion that the Meridian is the best buy in the TP world at the moment.

Thanks Michael, I agree. Late model G1000's are great for the techie types, but there are real bargains in the older fleet especially Avidyne and G500 conversions. The PC12 and TBM's are also great planes, especially if the mission matches.

What's the range on a Meridian with 4 on board?

How well do they hold their value?

I wanted a TBM until I learned more about the MU2. Now I'm in the market for a Solitaire. It fits my mission much better, aside from the capital cost advantage (which is huge).

Everyone has their own unique set of needs.

It might be Michael, if its fit your mission but it does not for me.
If your the type that flys with you and your wife and like to do 3 hrs leg then the Meridian/m500 might be for you.
The extra 2m that you invest in the 930 you will get it back when you resell.
