HF no selcal. Yikes, you have to listen to all that scratch nonsense. You need to install CPDLC, but the antennae might be bigger than the airplane. Haha.
Sound like fun flying. Id like to take mine to Europe and fly the VHF route Iqualuit, Greenland and Iceland. Would be fun!

Thanks for the on my paint scheme. I love my Aerostar, but I have never been a "brand loyal" type guy. Between a Baron and Aerostar, each has its advantages, disadvantages, and peculiarities and the individual just has to figure out which seat fits his butt better. A couple of weeks ago, my wife and I were coming home from Florida. The pic speaks for itself and is representative of the day to day performance my airplane delivers. This is a power setting of about 60% and ROP.

It is nice to sit in front of the propellers except when they look like this.
