Another Air Force buddy and I are starting a non-profit flying club here in Las Vegas to offer affordable flight training to veterans and active duty military. We're going to charge $70 an hour for the aircraft (wet) and $30 an hour for instruction. Here in Vegas the cheapest instruction you can find is at least $190 an hour.

My buddy is buying the airplane but we want to get extra tires, an LED landing light, and some other goodies for the airplane. Is there an illustrated parts catalogue and repair manual like I have for my Bo? If so, does anyone know where we can get one? Thanks!

There is a point in time where Cessna started to copyright their manuals. I am not sure of the date. If you want maintenance manuals and illustrated parts manuals for aircraft before the time they were copyrighted they are available on line. So the first question is what year aircraft are you talking about.

IIRC they are combined 100/200 series MM and IPC. I believe I have a few print copies. I'll look at the hangar tomorrow if interested...

Here is a 1970-1977 that I have the pdf bookmarked for easy reference. Vegas was tough, DPEs were hard to schedule, ended up using Dan Smith up in St. George, really good availability. Duncan and Mullin only seemed interested in doing rides for Elite. But maybe it was just who I was working for....

Couple years back Cessna made all the 100 series parts manuals available for free on their web site for download. You have to register and the site is kind of clunky but they are there:

One thing worth noting, there may be multiple revisions of the appropriate manual - grab them all, parts # revisions/supercedances are worth being able to see.

Thank you everyone, this is immensely helpful. This will be a great service that we'll be able to offer to our veterans here in the Las Vegas area. We are hopeful that we can launch and hopefully grow our club to continue doing this.
