Any idea what the DOC on full-motion sim would run? I imagine it's more than a small single engine airplane.

Don't miss out on the other exciting items in the auction, including

757 sim
dc9 sim
4' by 3' pegboard
hotpoint microwave
drum funnel on wire shelf (yes, you get not just the funnel but the shelf somebody left it on)
and more!

I'll bet I got my 757 type in that Sim. But of all the items I might be able to afford the pegboard.

It very much depends: whether you intend on keeping it certified or not.

Hmmm. Is it even certified NOW? Not convinced it is, but haven't bothered to check the NSP list.

As for costs... just to move it and get it re-set up... figure about $400,000 assuming you have a building with floor (2 feet thick concrete with tons of rebar), electrical, and ceiling height to handle it.

Operating costs... don't ask (one of those "if you have to ask, then...) answers!

I bet that has no bearing on the price to operate and maintain. Just getting 3 phase 480v to it is going to be expensive. Lots of old school electronics that probably render the whole thing inop when one board goes....

Well maybe state-side, but in here, there is quite a difference of price whether you rent a 737 sim that is certified or not.

There is a 737, lvl-D in Pontoise for instance, 300 euros/hr. FFS, with a FI, but not certified.
A certified one is around 1000 euro/hr.
