New owners of a T303 and enjoying the airplane so far. Doesn't handle like the B55 but what plane does :D It's not as heavy on the controls like a 310 or 340. Looking forward to flying her more.

Very nice! One of the underappreciated planes, I think.

Very nice!
Unpressurized?
What's the useful load? How many seats?

I've always like the cruciform tail, but you don't see a lot of 303s around. On the way back from Osh, I wondered how long before my family can't fit in an A36! :ahhh:

Only have three kids, but they keep getting bigger, and so does their stuff. I don't think the baggage extension STC would move the needle enough.

Do you have the STC that increases power by re-labeling the gauges? How is the performance?

I hadn't seen the cargo door before, do they all have that option?
Great looking plane!

Cool Bird! I don't know much about the T303. Is that the same barrel as the C340? What are the basic stats? Engines? Performance? Burn? I'm assuming it's non-pressurized, correct?

Here's a start Don...

That link answered my question on the cargo door also.

Thanks for sharing Jack. That's a very attractive bird from a specs / performance standpoint. What's not to love? Good performance, huge cabin, simpler systems, very low fuel burn for the size / performance.

If it weren't for the very limited market, I can't see why anyone who was looking at unpressurized twins wouldn't highly consider it.

My Dad and I had one back in the 90s. Nice plane. Have someone do a good check of the gear. We had a brace break on ours and it's a miracle I didn't have a main leg fold up.
They are a great transition from a single. Roomy. Seems it went about 175 it's on 25 g/hr??? They have derated cont. tsio-550 if I rem right.

That's fantastic performance / burn for that size cabin. That's exactly the performance / burn I get in the Seneca which has a decent sized cabin but it has nowhere near the roominess of the T303.

No, the one I fly does not have that, just the normal airstair. That cargo door would definitely help every time we install a new system.

It's a great airplane, super stable, w&b is really easy, and the landing gear makes every touchdown soooo smooth (it's certainly not me).
I really like the fuel system, and fueling it is not fuss (575L).
The cockpit layout is pretty good, I really enjoy having nearly all the buttons neatly put together with the breakers on the left side.
It looks bigger than it really is. Good feeling to walk to that plane.

We climb 32/2400, then work at 24/24, 100L/hr. Most of our missions are around FL100, we see about 170ktas. Bear in mind we're always at MTOW and fly for 5h.

On the other hand, watch out for CHT on the ground when it gets above 28 degrees C. More than 10min taxi and things get complicated.
