These applications are available for all Citations but are aircraft type specific (CPCalc and EOM) and airframe specific (SN) for CLCalc. You provide your aircraft serial number and the application downloads the appropriate data. I know they also publish something similar for their newer SEP/SETP product lines. The Textron folks I have spoken to in Wichita tell me their long term goal is to have something similar for KAs.

Alex: When I tried getting those for the Citation II and V, the Citation folks told me they didn't support the legacy jets. I couldn't get them. Maybe it's changed. Mark: I hope this goes much better for you than that experience with the folks we won't mention. Too bad you couldn't take that one to South America or somewhere and have it, uhhhh, break down.

I use APG and it's a great app and they have non standard procedures airframe specific for OEI escape procedures. Andrew

3+20. KSAW to KPIE (St. Pete) 4000lbs fuel . 1140nm. 363kts TAS. 1,194lbs/hour. $3.00 gal from fuel program. 588 gal. 175 gal hour. Turb required FL290 for half the flight. 13 knots faster than other II's I have flown.
Pretty rugged weather. 30 min IMC picking way around 60,000 foot storms. NEXRAD said we were flying in extreme precip with lightening. Radar said we were good. It did not disappoint. NEXRAD only and I am dead.
Have to know your radar and its limitations and then trust it. lots of work sp

From what I've seen his float plane passengers have a forward CG and as we know, this likely requires special attention (IN THE INTEREST OF SAFETY)

Username Protected wrote: Mark - I don't know if it would make sense on a leased aircraft due to the yearly subscription cost, but have you tried Cessna's Edocs (CPCalc, CLCalc and EOM)? For my plane I have found them to be incredibly accurate and easy to use.
I fly out of some high altitude airports with published climb requirements and/or where simplified criteria does not apply, and it is easy and quick to check compliance, V speeds and flap configuration for last minute changes. I've tried it the other way (Fltplan, AFM/OM) and it's considerably more work. Only w&b is available for the 550/560. Nothing else. A shame.

Fun trip with John L's daughter. She is one person I can count on to fly the Citation with me..(yes I am talking to you (you know who you are). She made her first landing at Chicago Midway. It was crazy busy. Cross wind. Wind shear etc. I sensed an elevated breathing rate but she never flinched. A couple of gem comments from her: 1)." What does ADF stand for" while pointing at the ADF. I explained to her that 1) I didn't appreciate being told, albeit indirectly, that I was old. And 2) after explaining how an NDB approach worked she said " wow, that sucks". Hehe. Indeed. She gets it 2) I explained her dad's brag post re her accomplishments. Then mentioned a A BTer had a son similarly interested in aviation and how he had suggested that John and he should "hook them up". She chuckled and said "who knew BT was a dating site?" We both agreed only one serious pilot in a relationship is allowed. She said "I am way too competitive to date another pilot". Love this girl. Wise beyond her years. 3) she presented me with a gift. A thanks for giving me a chance. Brand new pair of polarized Ray Bans. Who does that? Gold!
