My answer to this question on Jeopardy was "It gets its lift in flight from this air foil at its outer edge known as the Morrison slope"

Back in the early '70s at Berkely, Guts Frisbee was popular. There was a guy with an incredible index of 1.04 (when most people are a 1). You did not want to be across from him when he was throwing.

You did not want to be across from him when he was throwing. Nice! I had my day in college, too. Late 70's... I was one of the people who understood the aerodynamics of the darned thing, so was usually first picked for frisbee sports - I could "bend it like Beckham" (even though that movie came out much later)...
