My answer to this question on Jeopardy was

"It gets its lift in flight from this air foil at its outer edge known as the Morrison slope"

I've been a fan of the Frisbee since I was a kid -- not that long after the darned thing was invented! I still remember the original commercials!

If you are a fan of the Frisbee, what is the ape index?

Back in the early '70s at Berkely, Guts Frisbee was popular. There was a guy with an incredible index of 1.04 (when most people are a 1). You did not want to be across from him when he was throwing.

Nice!

I had my day in college, too. Late 70's... I was one of the people who understood the aerodynamics of the darned thing, so was usually first picked for frisbee sports - I could "bend it like Beckham" (even though that movie came out much later)...
