I just spoke with the area Sales Manager. He is bringing a 2016 SR22 as well as the SF50 mockup here (BHM) on April 12th for a sales event. We are in the process of becoming an Approved service Center for Cirrus. He told me there are now over 500 positions sold for the SF50.

The thing that caught my attention was the the Angle of Attack indicator on the Garmin Perspective. I hope that means that Garmin plans to announce an upgrade to antique Perspective systems (2013).

Back in 2013, Cirrus claimed the same, so sales are slow if non existent since then.

Salesmen always want to give the impression people are buying.

Tony,

I have been told that this will be available to legacy perspective systems. 9 months is what some folks are saying.

Saw this one in a brochure. Colors are outstanding.

I missed the play video at the top of the link the first time.

I'm looking forward to seeing it. There is another BTer that picks his new plane up next month and is coming to Abilene to have lunch and visit.

I know we catch a lot of flack, but it is an awesome plane to fly and travel in.

Wasn't in the promo video.
Here is a pic that was posted on COPA.

I'm sure that many of you will be underwhelmed because the display is not mounted up on the glare shield. Others will lament about how the choice of display is unintuitive. Someone will be along shortly to opine on how dangerous and or AOA's are....especially the one that the Cirrus engineers decided to install in particular for one reason or another . I guess Cirrus just cannot get anything right these days. :D

And here Mooney is bragging how they finally put two doors on their 50 year old airframe...

Cirrus is playing the game at a different level. Great marketing requires a great product, and they have both.

A friend of mine has a 2016 SR22T on order; he's picking it up in April. I'm looking forward to going for a spin! :dancing:

900K!

Just so you know, the base price for the non-T SR22 is $519K. There are many options that can be added.

If the invitation consisted of those exact words, I'd probably take a pass! :D :D

Ribbing aside, the "desirability" Cirrus creates for their product is admirable...
