Oh well.
Mike C. You would never lower yourself to purchasing a PC12 so what difference does it make? I'm not trying to convince you. I have endured countless trolling posts from you on BT. You're highly motivated to bring me down. The proof is here. Call it what you want.

there's no question the PC12 is an impressive plane. I've been scratching my head for a long time now as to why people buy light jets instead of the pilatus? The little jets aren't that much faster, don't have better legs, and they rule out many airports that the turboprop can get in and out of easily

Get a fast long range TP or a slow short range jet? The crossover for me starts at about 3.5 million and up. Cj2, cj3 phenom 300. Lots of TP choices not just the PC 12.

Prove it or stop it! You clearly don't know our history. The proof is here on BT if you care to research.

I do know the history and have had many disagreements with MC on the Cessna forum.
Never had any of the things you are dreaming up happen to me?

But if I call them there's no doubt a record of them. Nobody in the history of BT has taken the time out of their day to bash me me the way Cholas does. It's bizarre. The man contributes nothing here. Just bashes peoples posts and cut and pastes Wikipedia. I'm sure he had loads of friends in HS.

Light jets are 100 knots faster than PC12. Fly into a 100 knot winter headwind and the difference is enormous. Light jets are quieter. No headset for passengers. Light jets are FL410. Light jets are often cheaper to buy. Light jets are safer than turboprops (even twin turboprops). And finally, light jets are jets. Mike C.

Crandall, if I were you, I wouldn't mess with Ciholas. I just checked out his website, and it made no sense to me whatsoever!! It might as well have been written in Chinese! As far as I can tell, Ciholas is some sort of evil genius with an army of robots. And they look like pretty mean robots as well. Needless to say, even ONE robot is capable of kicking a human's ass, and probably mind control too! Me? I believed you and your claims of the range of your PC-12 -until I saw the Evil Genius of Ciholas. And now I'm just scared. And sad. Oh no.... I think I just peed myself. jh

Light jets are 100 knots faster than PC12. Fly into a 100 knot winter headwind and the difference is enormous. Name all the light jets that are 100 knots faster than a PC-12NG. Most aren't that much faster and when you consider a light jet would have to stop for fuel where a PC-12 could go non stop, that speed is not a benefit.Light jets are quieter. No headset for passengers. PC12's passengers do not require headsets. In fact they don't even come with headset jacks.Light jets are FL410. FL410 comes into play about 5% of the time as being a benefit vs FL 260-280Light jets are often cheaper to buy. Really?Light jets are safer than turboprops (even twin turboprops). Agreed, but it's not like turboprops are unsafe...And finally, light jets are jets. I never bought into this argument but I guess it means something to some people.Mike C.
Light Jets cannot carry the load nor has remotely close the range a PC-12NG does. If someone has a short mission and two engines matter then it makes sense. Otherwise it just doesn't.

If the new GE TP engine truly is more efficient and can produce the same power I imagine the next GE Powered PC12-NG will go NY to LA non stop both ways. That's a game changer, again. I think it's the future. A bigger, faster SETP would change the industry even more the the PC12 already has.
