And the surprise appearance of Laz has me almost shaking like a drug addict.. If not a Duke, what could I buy? I need a twin, my PAX refuses to fly in a single engine airplane.. I want pressurization.. And I currently have a 58 Baron.. What else is out there? And not a 58P - I think.. Might as well go for broke on the Duke vs. putz around on a 58P.. Thoughts? Asking because maybe I missed something.. Brent - I know.. A turbine duke.. gosh - they're looking so damn sexy .. but you really don't get the range do you? increased GPH in JET-A. How much range do you want or need?

I love BT.
The stories are all different but the endings are always the same! In dramatically and unfunnily after the MU-2 Recommendation. edit: The unbearable shame of it. Were I named Mikiko Brannishiki, I would have already slit open my belly, as would the members of my household, and my second would have wielded a rusty garden shear instead of a katana.

Username Protected wrote: Why not a Baron58P?. It is faster than a Duke, it requires much less maintenance than the Duke, Baron parts are easily available, burns less fuel than the Duke, and you are very familiar with most of the systems in the P Baron. There is a great 1982 P Baron on the Controller that is very well equipped, has very young engines and has good Paint/Interior. Fly a P Baron before you buy a Duke. Take a good look!! Speed about the same. Maintenance about the same. Parts about the same Duke has higher pressurization PBaron does burn less fuel for the same speed Duke much roomier.
