Cessna apparently scrapped the diesel 182 in favor of a more unique approach to engine building. From what I can tell it has one huge massive cylinder that powers this aircraft. I did not get the specs, but it looks like quite a machine. I saw this bad boy in Vernal Utah.

I thought that plane looked familiar! That fine flying machine has been in that state (over a barrel) for years. I chuckle each time I fly there and see it. I'm about 30 min (Bonanza speed) west of there.

Makes me think, I could buy an old airplane like that and take the front end off it and mount it in my basement, sans engine, with a cowl and a prop and convert the the front end into a .....

Ok you Cessna Affcionados. THat sure looks like a 205 to me. Is that an extra window in the back for the mini back seats? Beermeister is the best solution for that one!!
