I kinda think the other guys didn't interfere with our construction projects because they figured--rightly, it turns out--that they'd end up taking possession. There's an Interesting shot of one of these landing on the side of a hill in the Mel Gibson movie "Air America". Favorite trick of the pilots was to land on the numbers when we returned to Bien Hoa--on the far end.

I like the Kodiak too. That's Larry's favorite airplane. Your bird is tough to beat on a cost basis. You do a fair bit of hauling and heavy. I'm sure you can carry more in to make it work too. The Kodiak vs the Baron was very close in operating cost if you squinted to the right

And that is the problem. Had I bought the BE 58 first, I'd have a lot of upgrade options. But its damn hard to move from the TN A36. I guess I'm going to have to fall in love with a plane to make a move. This is so true. The next step up from a TN 36 will cost you millions. As for the Twin Otter.... I saw one at NBAA last year and thought it was the coolest thing. It's huge.
