Here's a few pictures of my 1973 7GCBC with a little over a year ground up restoration. Just a few changes, including metal wing spars, extended aluminum landing gear, Alaskan Bush wheels including tail wheel, upgrade to a O-360 balanced, port flowed with a roller cam along with a three bladed MT CS prop...
This thing is a hoot to fly and an amazing STOL airplane.

Username Protected wrote: Awesome! When you say STOL....how about some specifics? I've only got about 10 hours in this one so far. However, I have a 900 ft. paved strip at my house and have no problem getting it down in less then 400 ft. and take off at 250ft. I know I can improve on the landing numbers with more time and technique. Still pretty good though for a plane with a 1950 pound gross. Just hard to fly that slow when your used to the Baron...LOL... I've been using 55mph as approach speed but I've been able to get it down to 48mph. Still good control at that speed with the VG's. However, when you push the props in, it's like throwing out an anchor and seems like I need to carry a little power through the landing. Again, I'm sure it's just technique. Rick

Do you have two sets of engine controls for the front seat? I see the vernier prop and mixture controls on the panel and the controls on the left wall. The panel is mixture and prop and the left side is throttle and carb heat.
