It's not like it's less ugly than the SF50. And everyone seems to be enamored and drooling over that.

You guys are awfully harsh. What could possibly go wrong with a Polish jet equipped with suicide doors and detaching wings?

I'm thinkin' the doors and detachable wings may be related. At least the left wing.

Is the suicide door accounted for by the fact that this is a test aircraft(i.e., pilot may need to bail in a hurry)? I think we should all be cheerleaders for anything aviation instead of denigrating anything that's not a bonanza. The Bonanza was not universally accepted at first either.

Showed it to my 2 boys. They thought it was the coolest thing ever.
I guess the grass is always greener...

Would probably look cooler in a military paint scheme. At least that held defend the ugly factor.

I think it's beautiful. Don't like the doors hinged that way though.

They may have done that for a test airplane on purpose, for ease of egress in an emergency. I suspect not, though.

On a pressurized airplane (and this plane had better be pressurized), the doors are far more substantial. There really isn't the incidental door popping open in that case. So in actual service, the rear hinge line will likely not be an issue.

The real practical issue is that the door will get away from the pilot on windy days since turbines are parked into the wind. A good snubber or catch would be a good idea.

It's not as ugly in a paint job. In fact, it's kinda cute.
