Not really :-) I dream, sleep, and live Mooney :whiteflag: Ten years with the Bravo and seven before that with my 201. Now my IA, (9A5) he is a Bonanza lover and works on quite a few of them. You can imagine our conversations back and forth.
Unfortunately our Mooney community is so small that we don't have forums etc. as active as this one. Lots and lots of info flowing though here, it's great.
I am just south of Chattanooga in Dalton Ga. KDNN. Anytime someone needs help or even lodging/stop over, we have a guest house and would be glad to help.
Thanks for having me and not kicking me back out...........yet

Tony,
As a previous Mooney convert all I can say is come on in the water is fine. :peace: there just aren't too many 6 place Mooney's. And the pressurized 5 place ones are hard to justify. Let's see how many people here are that Mooney savy. Anyways stop by and I'll take you for a ride. Just like a drug dealer the first hit is on me!

Banana

Now Mooney, I love Mooney's. People always think they are small until they actually sit in one. It's wider than my Baron ;-)

I've a 201J too. Flies 155-160 on less than 10 gallons an hour.

Welcome Tony! I fly over KDNN all the time on my frequent travels from Nashville, TN to Athens, GA. I might stop in for a visit some time

+1

I moved on from my Mooney a little over a year ago and have no regrets at all. However, I do miss flying the Mooney from time to time. Nothing else flies like that. And to Tavis's point - it takes a special someone to sign up for an M22

I'm jealous of any airplane that has speed brakes! Welcome

Welcome Tony,

The speed brakes are so the Bo's can keep up. :hide:
I need to stop in and compare "Mooney" speeds, with you, just don't compare FF's.

You'll love it here Tony. Fly safe and efficient.....

Welcome Tony. Does staying in your guest house include the use of the Viper? Just asking. :D

Thanks guys,
Rick, not sure about that, perhaps my Neon but certainly stop in, Chris too. I'm pretty sure Tavis took a ride one time...somewhere around 650hp supercharged then. Now it's about double that with the turbos :-)

The speed brakes were out to accommodate the photo airplane........ An SR22 :-)

If I had the need for six seats, I'm sure a turbo normalized Bo would be sweet !!

I die cut the baffle seals for those models also...

1900.00 new , after that a B35 in 1953...

Funny thing was I was 35 also when I got mine also( Bonanza )

Tony, Welcome.
Now that that's over, I like Mooneys, too, I just won't downgrade.

Nah, honestly they are great planes.

The old Mooney email list was once a robust source of BT-like wisdom. It has faded a bit over the years. Good looking Bravo, Tony!

Welcome. I fly into DNN from time to time as we have family nearby in Resaca. I don't have the dainty, slick, but effective speed brakes like the mooney. Mine are permanently out in the form of a big, fat, wide, tall Sundowner cabin & very effective.
