8 hours with a buffer, a variety of compounds and two martinis and this is how it turned out. They started out pretty well oxidized. All it takes it patience and a determination that metal is metal and they shined when I got em.

My efforts seem to simply be a black tarnish transfer process. From the spinner to my hands, arms, and clothing. And I'm convinced the law of conservation of matter is somehow violated.

Floor mounted buffer with a soft wheel, red rouge then white rouge, finished off the end with Mother's mag wheel polish.
