Just a quick post for the new folks... here's how I use this board. Everyone has their own style and preference, but this should get you started.
1. Login
2. Click on 'View unread posts' in the upper right corner, below the red bar.
3. In the list that comes up, click the thread that I want to read. The great thing about this is if you've read 4 pages out of a 5 page thread, clicking this takes you automatically to the first post you haven't read on the on either the 4th or 5th page.
4. After reading everything that interests me, click 'Mark forums read' two links to the right of 'View Unread'
In fact, I make it even simpler than this by just bookmarking the 'View unread posts' link. I check that bookmark every once in a while and I get caught back up. No fuss, no muss!
I'm sure this isn't news to anyone that's used the board for more than a day or two, but for those that haven't perhaps it will be useful.
