I've been on BT since I bought Todd Sanderson's last Duke and just wanted to chime in based on the latest thread on his current Duke. Everything Todd advertised and told me about 101AX was exactly what he represented. I've flown it close to 100 hours already without any surprises at all. The Duke is exactly what Todd describes. An incredible traveling machine that costs what I'd expect from a 30 year old complex airframe. My wife and I recently completed a VAC mission in incredible fashion. I'm also very lucky my wife loves to fly in 101AX.
My only disagreement with Todd is that I think it's a BLAST to fly (he says it's boring) and I can't wait for the next trip. He's looking for something more exciting and I hope he continues to share his adventures on BT.
I almost called him up to buy his current a Duke but don't have room in the hanger for two of them.

Tim, my trips are usually 250-700 mile range. Could do these in just about any piston airplane. Had a Cardinal, Turbo Lance, and Twin Commanche before the Duke. All were good planes and capable of most of my missions. Why a Duke? Have wanted one since I first saw one 30 years ago. I'm fortunate in that I don't need to justify my missions any more. My wife and family love it too. Can't wait till the next trip!

Welcome Aboard Britt! What airport in Arkansas are you based at. I spent a lot of time flying in and out of Arkansas. Really enjoy the state for hunting and recreation, especially NW AR. My favorite airport was KROG.
