Looking for a maintenance schedule for a Cessna Mustang. Trying to understand the difference between low utilization of Mustang vs KA200.
Thanks in advance

One thing to keep in mind is protech lite, which covers labor for all scheduled mx is something like 13k a year and assumes 150 hours a year of use. That is service center pricing so keep that in mind.
I'll try to dig up some more stuff, but it will be later this week. About 120 to 150 hours per year.

I have heard that somebody sells a Maintenance Program for the Cessna 500s that moves almost all maintenance items from calendar to hourly. A huge benefit for low utilization operators... Anyone else heard about this or know who it is?

That represents very different mileage in a KA compared to a Mustang. Do you have a defined mission that will be a fairly fixed nm/year regardless of type or do you expect the mileage to expand if you get a jet? 150 hrs KA vs 100 hrs mustang may be a different answer than 125 hours KA vs. 125 mustang.

A huge benefit for low utilization operators... Anyone else heard about this or know who it is? Friendly comment...the term "Cessna 500s" is kinda vague, and can be confusing. There is a lot of difference between a Cessna 500/501 Citation 1/SP, Cessna 510 Mustang, Cessna 525 CJ, etc. So the program you speak of may only apply to certain models. Now hopefully someone smarter than I can answer your question.

I'm sure that guy could help you put together a maintenance program compliant with 91.409(f)4 for most airplanes with enough time and money invested. He had one put together for Cessna 441 Conquest IIs too, for example.

I have read that Bacon is busy with the models he has templates for. If things slow down he will look at the 510 and 525 (M2). There are some downsides to what he does. You lock in a maintenance program and become the program manager to the FAA. This replaces following Cessna's program. If Cessna makes changes to their maintenance program it would not apply to your frozen program. This may be the preferred approach for older legacy types but I am not sure I want that for a type still being manufactured or an aircraft still under warranty like the Phenom 100 or M2.
