I have an interest in a Cessna 172 located in Charlotte, NC area and was wondering if anyone had suggestions of a good prebuy guy close to Charlotte? We are in the early stages but wanted to get everything lined up before we start with the money side of things. Thanks for any help!

I went through the buyer seller dance last year for 5 months before I was able to purchase my plane (I disqualified a lot of planes) Something I learned when a quality plane came to market at a fair price is that it's too late to be working the money out. Not saying this 172 fits that category, but don't waste much time trying to get through the process. I missed out on two 172's, one I lost to a guy who wired the entire purchase price within 36 hours of the plane being listed. He bought it sight unseen, without a prebuy.

I say all that to say this - act quickly.
