This has been posted before, but quite some time ago. I hope I am not breaking forum rules in reminding everyone that this property is still for sale by owner.

Lovely, peaceful setting perfect for a pilot who wants to own their own airstrip.

Please take a look at the website that I created to help market this for my dear friends.

No, the other lots will have access to the runway by agreement only with the primary home/hangar/airstrip.

Best Regards,

Tina

In an attempt to make the outside of the home a little more homey... (not homely!) the owners had decorative shutters installed.

See:

It looks nicer, yes?

Tina,

Post often...you won't bore us or wear out your welcome.

Oh my, I would love to live there.

The shutters make a BIG difference in appearance...I did that to the house I bought ten years ago...and in which I still live.

I hope it sells to a BT member.

Tina, I notice on the patio that there is dampness. Is that from a sprinkler system. Also after heavy rains or continuous rains are there any flooding issues anywhere around the house or hanger? Lastly is it considered in a flood zone for insurance purposes. I am asking this question for a friend. Another Florida transplant!

Doug,

Get your butt up here and we will fly over there and take a look...less than an hour for me.

Real sorry, Max. I know it's rude of me to not hang around and chat much. I'll do my best to try and visit more and with less selling. I'm not a bad person, just busy as heck and really wanting my friends to move back to Connecticut.

I guess I can tell you a little about me. I'm not a Beech Pilot, but I have logged a little bit of time in one. A Beech 19, no less. Sure, it was 'pretend' logging, but it's in my book so it counts. (Straight and level over Lake Michigan on my way to Oshkosh way back in the year 2000.)

I own and fly a Cessna 172 and simply love it. It suits my needs to a T. My flying is usually me, flying me. Guess the 180 h.p. Air Plains conversation is wasted on me. Often the way, it seems. When you start everyone is excited to go flying but as time passes, the thrill is gone for those land-lubbers.

Hubby is a sailboat kind of a guy. He tolerates my hobby as I tolerate his. Just can't get over that I can taxi faster than his boat EVER sails. <lol> My boys are older now, but even they tired of flying long ago. I still remember a flight up to Jaffrey, NH with my kids in tow. 10 minutes into the flight my youngest says... "Are we there yet?"

<sigh>

They just don't get it.

Well, there you have it, a little bit more about me. I am more than a real estate pusher.....

Blue Skies,

Tina

Nothing more than taking the photo right after a rain shower.

It has been a wet spring down there, but no issues with flooding that I am aware of. And believe me, I'd be aware of it. My friends tend to whine about each and every problem they encounter. Ever. <smile>

I plan to be down there within the next couple weeks. Perhaps it can be a BeechTalk gig?

One more thing... Max... it says you're in Knoxville. Do you know my "buddy" Ron who lives out that way. Owns a C47/DC3 that I'm trying to help him sell.

No, I won't start advertising that one here. Unless you wanna see it, that is. :)

Blue Skies,

Tina

Tis a purdy aeroplane at that:

You can see that website at: http://sites.google.com/site/n4550j/home
