Yes, Ohio was ranked too high, has a good team, but not a top 5 team this year.
Yes, Georgia beat ND but it was a nail bitter (I'm a UGA fan and alumni) but they shot themselves in the foot numerous times with dumb offensive and defensive penalties. Evidence of being a young team. Hopefully Kirby will get them shored up a bit better before they get into the meat of the SEC schedule in 2 weeks.

Hay Green Hornet, will you please update your avatar, still shows the Green Hornet as your ride.

I don't blame them. The media hyped them too much.
Tigers v Tigers was a really tight game in Auburn last year:
I think Louisville will give us all we want and then some!

Love college football (except uga). :duck:
All in good fun guys. OH st could still win it all....so could just about anyone in the top 25.Thats what makes it fun!

Hi, My name is Dana, and I'm a Notre Dame Fan ... didn't go to ND, but lived in or around South Bend for all of my 58 years, been going to games since I was 10, season tickets for the last 20 + years .....

Hats off to UGA fans, they were really great, and the fact that they took over 40% of the stadium was a testament to their team loyalty and a real knock on us ND fans. The sea of red was pretty shocking (looked like a Georgia Home Game) and you can see it in the video below.

The wx was perfect football weather, and the four F15-E's that flew over was pretty cool !

Probably going to be another rough year for the Irish .... but I'll still be a ND fan
GO IRISH .....

Dana..... my daughter goes to BC. ND playing BC this weekend. BC not very good this year. The "holy war" always seems to be a good game. Hopefully we will be making the trip to Boston.

Great video with a perfect vantage point!

Not sure I agree with the 40% though...that's a lot of red. :bugeye:

Interesting season so far. I love Bama but their youth shows. Hurts is improving but pass protection can be lacking and the drop off is huge when the 2nd string comes in. Unlike last year, they can't pressure with just 4 rushing on defense. Right now I would put Clemson at #1 with Oklahoma #2. Really I have them tied at #1 since I think they are the two best looking teams. LSU is a huge disappointment. Miss. State is a huge upside surprise. TA&M is, well... TA&M. Florida still needs an offense. Tenn. is looking forward to next year when they will break out - just like last year and the year before. Vanderbilt isn't the worst team in the SEC which for them is doing very well. Ole Miss losing to Cal hurts but Ole Miss has a lot going on and it will only get worse for awhile. Stanford is disappointing. ND and tOSU have losses while Bama is undefeated. That makes it a nice start to the season. Now if Michigan can just lose.... Franklin has PSU continuing to improve. I like him as a coach. How good is USC? They BARELY beat Texas. Did Texas improve THAT much or is USC that overrated?

My daughter goes to BC. Visited her this weekend and went to BD vs ND. Fun game..... BC in the hunt first half .......ran outta steam I'm second half. On way home stopped at Penn State to have lunch with my son. PSU won big against Georgia State. PSU hasn't played anyone yet. Iowa next week. Great weekend. Momma's Bday this week....... all she wanted was to visit her babies. So blessed to have one of theses great machines!

A few months ago I'm at the OU men's golf coach's house to celebrate their National Championship with a few friends, about 5 couples over there. Lincoln Riley and his sweet wife show up as they are friends with the golf coach. Lincoln is 'just' the Offensive Coordinator at the time. The girls are chatting in a circle and one of them, a Dermatologist, asks Mrs. Riley what her husband does for a living. As I'm trying to not pee on myself nor laugh out loud, she replied, 'He coaches football' and let it go at that. About a week later Lincoln was named the head coach.

Long story to say that Coach Riley and his wife are very nice and down to earth folks. Just good people.

Last Saturday my KSU Wildcats made Vanderbilt look like Bama. Which, offensively is not a shocker to me about KSU. Guess this week we'll see how Vandy compares to Bama.

Vandy seems to be for real. Real enough to beat Bama? I doubt it, but it could be closer than most expect.

Miss State seems to be for real, too.

Big game for Penn State this weekend at Iowa under the lights. Lots of hype in State College but in reality they haven't really played anyone yet. Should be a good game.

After the KSU win I thought Vandy might make it a game against Bama. Uh no. Didn’t happen.
