Years ago I used to have a subscription to Flying and really liked it. When I got out of flying way too long ago I let it run out. My question is, what aviation periodicals are you guys reading these days with any frequency? Flying, AOPA, Plane and Pilot?

Thanks

I probably had a "Flying" subscription for over 30 years, but I dropped it a couple years ago. Just no where near the same magazine as when Baxter, Morgan and Collins were writing.

I get EAA/AOPA and ABS mags, but just recently subscribed to Air and Space.

I don't have time to read magazines...

BeechTalk takes up all of my time. ;)

The past couple years, I've added The Twin Cessna Flyer to my reading habit.

I also skim AOPA.

To me it seems most of the aviation magazines (with a couple exceptions) have fallen into one of two camps. First, the 'Big Iron' and/or turbine crowd. The other is warbird. Other than EAA, and magazines published by "breed clubs" there is very little for the little guy. At one time I was getting Flying, AOPA Pilot, Flight Training, Plane & Pilot, and a couple others. Today, just the AOPA, which takes less than an evening to read articles pertaining to the type flying I do and then it goes into the trash, and Cessna Flyer which tends to hang around for several months.
Others that I read at the airport between students is the EAA Magazine, Aviation Safety, IFR and IFR Refresher.

I like King Air magazine, it's free and has great info.
Also read AOPA, BCA, AIN, PRO PILOT etc.
