What is your vote:

Drip coffee maker ( Mr Coffee)
Percolator
French press

Any other?

For simplicity I use the french press, however percolators remind me of my early days. The noise they make while brewing the coffee is very cool and the aroma makes me happy.

Rgs,

Patrick.

Drip set up the night before.

I recall John Lockhart talking about having the Global Express of coffee machines, though. Hope he chimes in.

Get a decent semi-automatic espresso machine, stop going to Starbucks and it will pay for itself in about a year. If you like it brewed, Technivorm. Fresh beans are the key.

I use LaMarzocco GS3 for my morning coffee needs. It is plumbed in and used multiple times daily. If I were to upgrade I would look very hard at the Slayer.

I'm not... saying... anything. Other than my wife loves her coffee and her "coffee bar." I have no complaints - I'll drink pretty much anything coffee.

However, I do love the sound of an old fashion percolator.

The "First Cup" chalk is a tribute to my daughter, who has a FB live devotional with over 200 ladies each weekday morning. It's called The First Cup.

The correct answer is an Aeropress. Cheap, simple, makes perfect coffee in one minute.

Technivorm.

Consistently top rated drip coffee machine. Simple, durable, reliable.

Spend the extra on a burr grinder too.

Nothing beats freshly ground coffee.

If you don't do lattes and want a quality espresso, I dumped my trusty Nespresso machine (lasted me 10 years!) for the Jura ENA Micro 1 and I like it. Very simple, only makes espresso, but at a fraction of the cost of fully automatics that go for $3,000+ The key is to find good beans!

+1 for the Aeropress. It's one example of when you really can have good, quick, AND cheap in one package. Good beans and a good grinder are important.

French press, grinder and a in-the-sink hot water heater for the win! Makes any coffee taste good.
