Cessna 414 S/N 414-401. It has an STC'd air conditioner from Parker Hannifin (which Keith bought out which ??? bought out Keith). I'm looking for service information - for instance how many pounds of freon should this system take??

Thanks,

Bill U.

Bill,

Kieth Systems, Parker Hannifin were both absorbed by Meggitt Addison. You can reach them at 972-907-1234, ask for Mike Fitch he moved from name change to name change and I bet he can get you the information you need.

"The Web" says that Meggitt Addison was acquired by Air Comm Corp. But I'll give the number a try and see if it gets me anywhere.

Thanks for the reply.

Bill,

You could also try calling Tony Saxton at TAS Aviation. He's probably forgot more about 3-400 series Cessna's than we'll ever know. 419.658.4444.

If your Keith / J.B. / ??? system is the model that uses R134a refrigerant, attached is the service manual. If you are unsure of the refrigerant, they normally put a placard near the compressor unit in the nose.

Thanks Geoff. I don't think it is R-134 but I think the only difference is the size of the orifice. This manual is great. I downloaded it and will keep it in the hangar.

Thanks so much.

Thanks guys. Steve had it right but a little bit wrong number. I got an email reply from Michael Fitch in response to a question I submitted on the Air Comm Corp website. Michael included a service manual for the system in his response.

All is good.
