1) your meeting is critical 2) KDAL -KSAT 47 min trip 3) fixed at fl300 4) clear day 5) they have no cans of Prist and adding Prist like that is not allowed by their sop 6) defueling will take hours due to it being over wing
What do you do? I’ve become friends with a lot of old timers in the legacy Citations. I’ve asked them this question. They have all said it’s not a big deal. Not to mention the times you or I have flown negative and never knew it. I assume your talking about Citations? In any case a 47 min trip will not freeze the fuel.

Not a turbine guy, so this is purely speculative. I'm looking at: Daytime, Vmc, Short hop, Important flight, PIC is experienced, current and familiar with the airframe/SOP. No red flags there, so I would ask the following 2 questions. 1. Is there an acceptable margin for error on Prist dilution? 2. You're in the South and it's early fall...still hot. Since this is a short hop can you stay at lower altitudes well above the freezing level and just eat the fuel burn?

What do you do? 1. Fly lower and bill the FBO for the extra burn. 2. Buy a couple of cans to stick in the back of the plane.

They gave me 10 cents off a gallon, a hat, a pen with an airplane on it and barbecue sauce. Thanks BizJet!
