But not just any RV-8; this was the RV-8 Mark Voss bought to refurbish. Mark, one of Jen's classmates at the Academy, passed away in command of Shell 77, the Fairchild AFB based KC-135 that crashed in Kyrgyzstan last year. The local EAA chapter in Spokane took his airplane under their tutelage and presented it to the Voss family this weekend, marking the one year anniversary of the accident.
