The pilot obviously knows his locale and conditions were favorable. With any winds at all, hitting some of those ridges at a 90 degree angle would invite a lee downdraft and I wouldn't chance it. Great video!

It's not for everyone, but it's for me. Just like his kinda flying aint for me, but could be for him... Whatever... I'd be much more inclined to do that sort of thing with 2 engines and going 250 kts or more. Then of course you lose some of the majesticness.... so yea... At least give me an aircam! it may be cold, but its got 2 engines... I would not do it either, but I can't deny the fact the video is pretty awesome. Wouldn't their be substantial mountain wave concerns as well?

I have done that frequently. You just have to learn about the conditions.
