Ah, budgets. Forgot about that I almost finished a Lancair 360. I built it and waited for the long anticipated Innodyne Turbine that never came to market. After cancelling that order, I order a supercharged Eggenfellner Subaru and that was even worse. Got the refund there and then ordered a 300 HP IO-360 Lycoming with 12:1 pistons. By the time I received the engine I was disgusted with the project and sold it. That would have been one fast 360.

Faster than a Bo But it's no Bo!! See if you can get a long ride 2 hrs or longer. It's just not a cross county airplane to me. I had a T-18 for a few years, it was small and tight and turbulence was felt but it was the most fun I ever had. It was as fast as the bo, wouldn't carry the luggage and only had 2.5hr endurance but man it was a fun 2.5hrs.
