Well, that explains why the empty weight is 41% of the SF50, they only got 41% of the plans downloaded. They did put a better tail on it than the SF50. The U tail will be less trim drag and more stable. They also aligned the thrust vector with the direction of flight, another improvement in efficiency. But other than that, large amounts of recreational drugs were involved when coming up with the specs. Mike C.

And then they just made up the missing pieces.. I agree it looks like a Cirrus Jet. But then there really is not any other way you could design a single engine jet. It's not like they could put the engine out on only one wing or in the nose. My wife says that all planes look alike. 2 wings, 1fuselage, wheels under the fuselage etc.... All depends on how you look at it.

From the internet: ✈️ Gregg Williams watched Flaris fly again! On May 22nd and 23rd at the Babimost airport in Zielona Gora the manufacturer of the engine for the Flaris Lar 1 – Gregg Williams participated in the next stage of flight tests, which took place.
The ECU engine control computer developed by engineers from Williams International interacted with aircraft computers, including the proprietary FFAS®, which is designed to minimize the activities performed by the pilot during all phases of the flight and to monitor the subsystems. - The Williams FJ33-5A engine with a static thrust of 8,2kN worked perfectly - admits Rafał Ładziński, Head of the Flaris Program.
We would like to thank Gregg Williams and the entire Williams lnternational team for their cooperation in developing the breakthrough structure of the innovative FLARIS LAR 1 business jet.
* If this was a Polish Joke I don´t think the founder of Williams Engines would be involved in the program....
Hope they do make it. Innovation & good execution is good for aviation

Gosh it’s obvious those doors are only temporarily installed opening to the front. Allows the test pilots to escape via parachute. Don’t you see the hinge attach points on the other side of the opening? Green type failure....
