I just spent 3 days in Albuquerque at the Eclipse Customer Event. It was a lot of fun. I met a lot of really great people. John and Martha King just got typed, and I enjoyed meeting and chatting with both of them (and then departing KABQ they cut me off on the ramp in a 20+knot taxi ) It was really cool to see the airplanes in various stages of build. It would be amazing to order a new airplane (no matter the manufacturer) and watch it take shape. I am still a year or more away from being able to do this, but perhaps some day ... EAI really has their act together. They impressed me on a number of levels. The 550 is truly an incredible machine.
