Either way, I'm good. I only have one airplane on my wish list which is the PC 12. Its been the same for 6 years as it will be in the next 6 years.

twin engine light and midsize jets...who can really take much of a wedge of that pie - and the pie ain't getting any larger.
Pilatus was brilliant in making the PC-12. It had no competitor and was a perfect fit and very well timed. It still has no competitor, amazingly. You want a single engine turboprop that does what a King Air B200 does, you have one choice. You want a midsize jet you have about 8 choices. Who cares if there's a ninth even if it performs marginally better. Here is a guess. I think the PC24 will haul a huge load and will get in and out of short fields with extreme take off / landing requirements. e.g. Designed for flying in the Alps. The "other" jets you mention in that market need 5-7K runways depending on load. I would guess that it will have massive flaps and be able to get in and out of much shorter fields. Tim

I hope I'm wrong, but it sure seems like a poor strategic decision.

I just can't justify the operating cost given my current state in life. I made the mistake of owning a TAT TN A36. Once you start running comparison spreadsheets against that plane nothing else comes close efficiency/speed/useful load wise, therefore you've got to lust after another plane to justify it.

I have never justified financially anything in aviation yet. I have justified it many other ways, but never financially.
