Guys:
Those of you who know me well probably already know that I both fly for Angel Flight South Central (AFSC) regularly and serve on the board. As most small charities we find it hard to raise the amount we need to recruit pilots and ground angels, coordinate flight opportunities, network with cancer centers and other hospitals and a small amount of administration. Our staff is 5, 4 in Dallas and one in Houston. The cost of the plane, fuel and pilot is donated by the pilots at no cost to AFSC or the patient.

Below are a number opportunities to support AFSC. Included is an opportunity of a lifetime to fly a Boeing Dreamliner 787 in the simulator, each ride is a lot of fun for two people and something very few people who are not airline pilots will ever do. I have actually flown the Dreamliner 787 simulator and can personally tell you that it is an experience that you will NEVER forget. There are also Boeing 737 NG simulator rides or the purchase a Breitling watch. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to AFSC to support transporting cancer and other patients from primarily the Texas and surrounding states to medical centers like MD Anderson in Houston.

Please join me in having fun and supporting this charity that provides help to people often during the greatest crisis in their life.

The links are below and the auction expires in 8 days and then the winners will be notified.

Peter

PS: If you cannot participate in raffle please consider giving a donation to AFSC. $25, $50, or whatever you can afford. You can donate right on our website and it’s TAX FREE, of course.

737 and 787 Simulator Rides
Go ahead. Admit it. You may be a lowly Cessna 152 pilot with most of your hours logged sputtering around the pattern on a Saturday afternoon. Or you may be a private jet jockey who takes the continental U.S. in a couple of strides. But the one thing all pilots have in common (and even some non-pilots) is that they always want to fly something bigger and faster.

Well, here's your chance! To support Angel Flight South Central, United Airlines has donated four two-hour simulator sessions at their training facility near George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, TX. Two of the sessions will be in the 737 Next Generation simulator and the other sessions will be in the 787 Dreamliner simulator.

The 737 Simulator sessions are scheduled for
May 4 at 12:00PM noon and 2:30PM. You will have approximately 1:45 in "the box" and a guided tour of the simulation center before or after your flight.

The 787 Simulator sessions will need to be coordinated between the two winning bidders for an afternoon or morning sometime on June 1-8 or June 19-28.

You can bid on these simulator rides using the following link:
