Should we plan a welcome party in Orlando for him? we'll have plenty of notice when he departs.. it'll be 25+ hours! Count me in! Bill make need a few extra hands to remove him from the sitting position. Nate

I don't know why it is showing 9.5. 36 hours is about right with some nice tailwinds.
I am getting ready to fly from Ramstein Germany to Qatar and back. I will be back in the hotel before he lands. I will be thinking of him and wish him luck.

Very interesting. He isn't exactly going for altitude winds yet .. the climb has been very gradual with that much fuel onboard.

Could it be possible that he is able to catch a little shut eye? Auto pilot set, an alarm would sound if a significant course change or altitude occurred? A 20 minute napoleonic nap does wonders!

I'm not so sure that the 336 kts report is correct. I have been watching this all morning https://go.spidertracks.com/fleetpro/pu ... /dashboardHe has not been over 200 kts that I have seen. Looks pretty lonely out there. Phil

check out this link in Flight aware....it shows speed and altitude. He looks to be doing 244 mph @ 15,000ft. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N6ZQ ...
