I have an aquaintence that says he is looking at buying a 2008 G450 located (I believe) in California. He wants an independant inspection, so I thought I would put it to the brain trust here.

He understands that he may have to fly them there also. Any idea of the cost?

Sheldon, I can get you a couple of names. One is even out there in CA already.

That would be great Tyler. You can PM their info or post it here, which ever you would prefer. I guess they can give me a cost guess.

I used to fly the G450. There is a service center at LGB. Chances are, they have worked on the plane. Other than possible damage history, the airplane should be in good shape for 4-5 yrs old. Gulfstreams are extremely reliable airplanes as long as they don't sit too much. It is a flying computer, so most issues (if any) arise in electronics. Great airplane!

Thanks for the info guys. I am waiting for him to go further into the deal and formalize the request.
