Stan,

Nice write up on the mosquito! I was glad the writer pointed out what a serious airplane it is, how expensive and how few of them there are. Helpful in keeping it off the bucket list! :D

Beautiful little airplane!

I've sat in that plane in Stan's hangar. It is an impressive piece of work, in and out. I haven't gotten my ride yet.

Stan stopped by DKX for a short visit, and fuel, on a cross-country trip. I watched him take off and start his climb. I've never seen a piston plane climb like that one; he was out of sight in a very short time.

Rick Durden did an excellent job on the article and Mike Fizer's photos are excellent as well.

In the Air Race at Taylor Tx (T74) last year, I was surprised to see Stan's SX 300 start just ahead of P51 Mustang. (Starting order done by expected speed)

He finished even farther in front of the P51 than he started.

Really neat article about our BT buddy Stan Musick's Swearingen SX 300 in the new AOPA magazine. That plane sounds lke a blast to fly, 242 KTAS on 16.4 gph, WOW!!

Nice Job Stan.

Rick
