Would you need approval for mounting on the wing?? Ive seen setups using a GoPro Hero HD mounted to the wingtips of a low-wing. don't know if it was screwed in, or just double taped (double stick tape is pretty strong nowadays). On high wing aircraft, I've seen people use Drift Innovations HD170 cameras attached by zipties to the tie down rings. I have both myself and have been trying to think of a way to get it mounted on my wing since you can't see the cockpit if I ziptied it to my tie down...
