All, Wanda, my wife, absolutely loves Stearmans (Stearmen?). If we weren't covered up with airplanes I'd go find one, but need to settle for simply flying one sometime. I'd like to find her a ride in one this summer and am looking for a place that offers rides. It's something she said she'd really like to do. Any suggestions in the upper midwest? Yeah, I'm lucky.

My next door neighbor has been flying John Thune's Stearman around the country so John can arrive fresh for his airshow performance. The airplane is normally hangared at ANE and there's some possibility that he could provide a ride for your wife, I'm thinking of angling for one myself having only flown a Stearman once.

Jack,
There is a Stearman for sale at KSBU (Blue Earth, MN), or at least it was this spring. You could probably buy a ride down there, too. Call the airport manager (Tim Steier). He is handling the sale for the Owner.
