Scott,

We only allow posts about Honda Jets if they have photos of Honda Jet models.

For only 1.3 millsky, I would prefer the V-tail Eclipse 400 jet. Now, that is a great looking 4 passenger jet! And too bad that Gerry Merrill can't find the capital to get his 2 seat version (estimated to cost 150K) "off the ground".

Yep, I'm partial to the efficiency and looks of the V-tail. All other aircraft have that goofy third surface that just adds drag. :D

Not to mention aggravating the rear CG problem. :bat:

Funny you should mention the Eclipse Jet. I just saw one last week flying at very low altitude near KGTU.

Scott:

I'll just go with my hunch that you have an economic interest in the HondaJet.

So, maybe you can help me/us understand what specific advantage(s) the HJ will have.
Is there a mission profile that defines your market?

While I like the looks and own lots of other Honda products, it seems like this is going to be a little late to a shrinking (US anyway) market.

No you are really not even close. I like reading this forum. No one seemed to notice the flight took place. I'm an IT guy with young kids that can't do much outside the house so I read a lot. My nieces husband does own a B55. That's how I got interested in Beechcraft. I also own a Honda Pilot and a Crv so I guess I have an economic interest in Honda.

No, no, no - we need a Jason-type Honda model, not a model Honda. :tape:

Well hey, my bad.
But, welcome to BT!

I've got a CRV also and my dad's '95 prelude (stick) that still goes like a bat out he11.

We all want the HondaJet to be a huge success. It would raise the bar for the manufacturers, and that rising tide (mixing metaphors) would help us all.

The very best of the season to you and yours,
Tom
