This is the first complete Cirrus rebuild I have witnessed. New everything, Western Skyways motor, paint, interior, TAT upgrade, TKS, and the Release 9 integrated avionics. There's a company specializing in rebuilding earlier Cirrus. With the Cirrus resale so low, you can have an incredible preforming, fresh platform, with huge savings over new. Could this be problematic for Cirrus' future? http://www.controller.com/listingsdetai ... 494014A8F0

If you were looking for an all purpose X country machine, what do you think about all this updated capability for $375,000? I'm certainly not geting rid of my Bo, but this has to cause a wrinkle in Cirrus marketing.

I don't know much about the R9 release, but wanting that would seem like a big motivator to go that direction. Although you could also buy a low time factory 2008 turbo for about the same money. Either way a Cirrus buyer has a lot of cheaper choices vs. new, so I agree it can't be helping them out.
