While it is the same size, the pinout and tray on the 90b is different from the 89b and the 94b. So for a 89b to 94 swap it is 5min of work and 30min of paperwork. For a 90b to 94 swap, replacement of the tray and modification of the wire loom is required. (I may have this backwards, but this is how the avionics shop explained it to me when I was looking at upgrading from an 89b)

Rick, You obviously like to live dangerously! Quote: A Tiger, a Cougar and a Cub While my daughter would probably be OK with Cub, I'm not sure I would get away with calling my wife a Cougar!

Rick, I think this is a great choice for a "fun" plane. While it is a good cross country machine it is a whole lot of fun to taxi and fly. I think the gals will love taxiing in the summer with the canopy opened. My next door hangar neighbor has owned one of these for years. He loves his plane and does almost all the maintenance on it (He is an A/P, owns an automotive repair business and is very skilled at diagnosis and repair, and has an IA friend who supervises and approves his work.). He flies his plane in hard IMC and has great confidence in it. He has owned the plane long enough to know all the small things one should know about the Grummans. Let me know if you would like a contact number for him.
