This clip is from COPA regarding the used market for Cirri (posted today by a dealer). I guess this Turbo SR22 is an outlier...

Just some quick info as I know it from out here in the sales trenches J…… It has been VERY busy hence my late post here. Phones are ringing; people are buying at the right price, time on the market generally 60-90 days.

I posted these numbers back on the 24th of March (sorry I have no idea how to link it up so I will just cut and paste from the post) I believe that the numbers are still holding very well. I know there is a range but keep in mind the lower the hours the higher the price.

I am NOT seeing a decline in the market in fact there are fewer planes available and prices are holding up very well. The numbers below are still very accurate.

So in short here is what I currently see the market doing..........These again are numbers based upon recent sales.

2007 GTS G3 Turbo with A/C 200-300 hours those are selling around the $400-385K
2006 GTS G2 Turbo NO A/C 300-600TT selling around $325-345K
2006 GTS G2 Non Turbo with A/C 200-400 hours selling around $290-280K
2005 GTS G2 with A/C 300-700TT hours selling $260-240K
2004 SR22 G2 LOADED GTS equipt NO A/C 300-700TT $220-200K
2003 SR22 Cent Editions (depending on TT and equipt) $200-180K
2003 SR22 (depending on TT and equipt) $200-185K
2002 SR22 (depending on TT and equipt) $190-$175K
2001 SR22 (depending on TT and equipt) $170-145K

NOTE: Deduct $15K if your plane does not have A/C from the numbers that indicate it having A/C to come up with a number.

Keep in mind on the 2001-02 market that number is reduced because of the impending parachute repack, that is slowing the sales of those planes. The 2001-02 market is moving much slower than the newer models.

I am also not really seeing the repo plane affect the overall market either, those planes generally have missing logs, or maintenance issues, damage etc. I very rarely have a buyer call and compare one of our listings to a bank owned aircraft.

And I would absolutely agree that the lenders have caused a lot of headaches with the current market. I have a lot of clients who would love to buy but cannot get approved, a year or so ago we would have had banks fighting over these clients. It is a real problem……

Wow. Didn't realize these sold so cheaply. Someone from Cirrus did tell me that depreciation on Cirruses looked like a hockey stick.
