You guys have it all wrong, the C185 was the best single engine Cessna ever built. At least they got the small wheel at the right end.

That may all be true, but you're leaving out the last part of the story.
When we got back the student I was with wrote out a check for the airplane, $50 an hour for my time, and graciously paid for breakfast.
Overall, not a bad way to spend a morning.
